Avaloka Retreat, Mulbring

Avaloka Retreat provides an opportunity for you to relax, recharge and de-stress in a natural environment set amongst beautiful gardens at the foot of the Watagan Ranges one and a half hours north of Sydney. 

The 11 acre property is set in the beautiful Mulbring Valley 45 minutes west of  Newcastle NSW Australia.

Use Avaloka Retreat as a base to explore the beautiful Hunter Valley.

* The property is centrally located just 20 minutes from historic Maitland and Morpeth where you can step back in time and visit Art Galleries, Cafes,  Specialty Shops and Restaurants. 

* 20 minutes from boating, harbour cruises and fishing on Lake Macquarie.

* 20 minutes from  the Hunter Valley Vineyards. Great concert and tourist venues.

* 20 minutes from bush walking in the beautiful Watagan Mountain Ranges.

HAVE YOU TRIED YOGA?

Jonathan and Emily Mitchell are your host family. Jonathan is a fully trained and Accredited Yoga Teacher. Individual or group Yoga and Meditation Classes can be arranged for you if you would like a Yoga experience.

There is no obligation to try Yoga. You can use Avaloka Retreat as a base to explore the Hunter Region or a place of rest.

Specialised Posture, Relaxation and Meditation Programs can be arranged for you or your group or you can join existing classes for one or a few Yoga sessions.

Current General Yoga Classes suitable for most people run on Saturday 8am to 9.30am and Tuesday evenings 6.45 to 8.15pm.

The practice of Yoga can improve your health and feeling of wellbeing.
